Mr. Kilby is the newest addition to the Science department. Before his move to Cape, he taught at Central for seven years. Although he was sad to leave, he felt that the move was what was right for a number of reasons. Not only is Mr. Kilby the boys varsity soccer coach, but also his children are in the district and his wife is a Cape graduate.

Mr. Kilby was inspired to become a teacher during his junior year at Dover High School. His inspiration came to life and there are so many greats aspects about being a teacher. However, his favorite part about teaching is watching the growth of his students and seeing them learn. Like anything there are some cons. For Mr. Kilby the most difficult part to joining a new school will be learning new procedures, especially with the ipads, but he is ready to learn! He also admits to getting lost in the building, but he will get the hang of it soon.

Mr. Kilby likes all aspects of the science content, but his favorite part to teach is Chemistry.
If he had to pick a different school subject to teach, Mr. Kilby would pick history because it was his favorite subject.

Mr. Kilby is really grateful to be here and feels his life is really happy. If you see Mr. Kilby in the hall, be sure to say hi!
