It is the start of the school day, the morning school bell rings and the announcements come on. Mr. Lebeiu says the pledge, says the birthdays, and then there is some new news about yesterday’s sports game, the new theatre production, and the yearbook. Normally students do not know what the different electives are doing, what projects are going on, or what is being taught, aside from sports, theatre, the yearbook, and their own electives.

To solve this lack of information, the classes of Mr. Fruchtman and Mrs. Elzey, with the electives of Visual Arts and Business respectively, were looked at to find out what’s going on in their classes, if there’s any projects they’re doing? In the Visual Arts class, the Junior Dylan Aunon was asked what he was doing in the class. “This was our most recent project.” He said while scrolling through a PowerPoint presentation. “This is one of the images I created and its to stop alien invasions because alien invasions are a big thing. This was more explaining why I think it’s a problem.” A bit later, the teacher clarified what the project was about. “We were doing street art. But they had to base it off of a social issue.” Mr. Fruchtman explained. Next, the Business class was visited and teacher, Mrs. Elzey, told of what was going on, besides the midterm testing. “We were about to run a company with junior achievement” she said.

So it seems that the Visual Arts and Buiseness electives are doing well and are finished with their own final projects.
