Prince Harry recently announced his engagement to American Actress Meghan Markle to the public on Monday November 27th. The announcement came after months of speculation from people worldwide. Markle is well known for her role as Rachel Zane on American Drama Series, Suits as well as charity work in third world countries.

Prince Harry reportedly popped the question early in the month of November over a cozy night where the pair “attempted to roast a chicken,” Prince Harry told CNN. The ring was designed by Prince Harry himself, the diamond in the center of the ring originated from Botswana to represent the time that the two spent with each other during their visit to Botswana. The two diamonds on the side are a part of Princess Diana’s jewelry collection.

The way that Markle and Prince Harry is actually a common way. The pair met in Toronto, which is where Markle was shooting Suits. Prince Harry was launching the 2017 Invictus Games back in 2016. Markus Anderson, a close friend to Meghan Markle, set the pair up around the same time.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to tie the knot in the Spring of 2018. The guest list for the royal wedding consists of over 500 people and the estimated cost for the wedding is at least $30 million. Marrying Prince Harry means that Markle will have to give up her life as a Actress in order to pursue her royal duties in the UK. “I would never give up doing the things that I enjoy doing just for a boy. I think that Meghan should still be able to do what she wants despite the fact that she is going to be marrying into the royal family. I was really hoping that this marriage would bring the United States and the United Kingdom closer together,” Senior Madison Sarnak said. She also plans on becoming a UK citizen shortly after the wedding.
